Get the best of both worlds with the Titan PowrLiner 3500S by having both a line spraying gun and a separate stenciling gun.
If you aren't already familiar with the PowrLiner 3500, you can head over to our PL 3500 product page and check out specifics about the machine itself. As a quick recap, it's a fantastic unit with a hydraulic pump instead of the old piston-style pump. That means no re-packing and minimal maintenance.
The PowrLiner 3500S is a combination of the PL3500 and an HD Stencil kit added at the factory which creates a unique, dual-purpose striping and stenciling machine.
If you're a serious parking lot striping contractor then stenciling is part of the job. With most line striping equipment on the market, you get a line striper with a detachable gun and the standalone PL3500 is no exception. Even though most of those line stripers are pretty easy to detach the gun for stenciling, it's still an extra step and a pain.
Where the PowrLiner 3500S shines is its separate stenciling gun. That's right, you get two guns on one machine with one gun dedicated to single line striping and the other gun dedicated to stenciling. The dedicated stenciling gun is the popular Titan RX-80 with a Red TR1 tip which is ideal for stenciling and it includes an 18" aluminum extension so you don't have to bend over anymore when stenciling.
With the stenciling gun, you simply shut the striping valve off and turn on the stenciling valve. Next, pull the gun out of the canister, uncoil the hose and you're ready to paint.
If you're switching colors, that's not a problem because you won't have to flush the hose to one or the other. Just shut the valve off! There's a little bit of paint left in the plumbing, but with the volume of paint you'll be spraying, color bleed won't be much of an issue. You can always flush the hose if you really want to.
