Overview
Our largest portable Infrared Asphalt Patcher, the HDE 300 will heat a area up to 6' x 3' of 18 Sq feet of surface area and incorporates 4 independent 75,000 BTU burners.
This Infrared Asphalt Patcher is large enough to be used for decorative asphalt applications such as hot stamping.
The frame is mounted on 4 steel casters offering the user excellent maneuverability on nearly any king of asphalt surface and it hold 2, 40 gallon propane cylinders.
The included handle allows the user to push or pull the infrared asphalt patcher and removes easily for compact storage.
Because the operator has the ability to regulate the gas pressure and gas flow to each infrared burner, the flexibility and uses of this Infrared Asphalt Patcher are endless. This heater will fill the need of most Infrared Patchers.
Because we use ceramic Fiber as out Infrared Filter, pavement scorching is a thing of the past unlike heaters that use Blue Flame heat. Blue flame generally heats faster and gets hotter but Infrared Penetrates the asphalt deeper without scorching the surface.
Heating Time
The average time to heat asphalt is 10 minutes per 1" to 1-1/2" depth. However, there are several things that affect the heat time such as:
- Weather conditions
- Type of asphalt mix
- Starting temperature of the asphalt
- Surface color (darker surfaces absorb radiation faster)
- Whether there is rubberized crack sealant present in the areas you are trying to heat

Adjustable 5 - 50 PSI regulator for easy temperature adjustment
Powered by (2) 30 lb tanks (NO BATTARIES OR BLOWERS)
Venturi type gas mixing (No Blowers) with stainless steel hood to protect from wind with built in filter to prevent plugged orfices
