Save time and energy by using a 55 gallon barrel mixer to stir sealcoat sealer, cold crack filler, or anything else that needs mixing in a 55 gallon barrel.

Made from an all-metal steel construction, simply insert the shaft into a drill and mix with ease!
Our 55 gallon barrel mixer has a ribbon style paddle that helps create a vortex style of material flow, and this results in a larger area of product being stirred for maximum efficiency. This product is slightly larger in diameter than our 5 gallon bucket mixer and it has an additional rod welded to the end, extending it to the proper length for mixing a 55 gallon barrel.

Drill Power
We recommend that you have a fairly decent drill with plenty of torque to use this barrel mixer with any of the BIGA products in case the solids in the material have settled. That said, don't go out and buy a drill because we gave you a warning, try what you have and if it struggles, go find a beefier one.
Most drills that can handle a 1/2" chuck are already pretty beefy so chances are, what you have will work just fine. If you're working with products other than the BIGA sealers, drill requirements will all depend on how thick or thin the material being mixed is.
As a general common sense disclaimer: We won't be held responsible for burned up, underpowered drills.
Barrel Type
Since the main part of the mixer diameter is larger than a 2" bung, this barrel mixer will ONLY work with "open" barrels that have removable lids.
