This 97% calcium chloride can be applied dry, or mixed with water to create a 35% chloride liquid solution, before freezing temperatures allow the moisture on the roadway. These concentrated ice de-icing pellets are hygroscopic, meaning that draws moisture from the air and ice, which enables it to work when other sodium chloride de-icers cannot.. This professional blend ice melter pellets out performs many other brands of calcium chloride pellets.

This pavement deicer is effective to -25° F. and begins melting immediately upon contact to quickly thaw through frozen ice. Because it has a long lasting melting action, it requires less re-applications than other de-icers. These pellets will leave very little powdery residue and is odorless and colorless.
