Filling asphalt cracks can be a messy job if your trying to pour the rubberized crack filler from a bucket or bottle and many times you will pour excess material on the surface which creates unwanted waste.
Using the Gingway handheld 2.0 gallon Asphalt Crack Filler Pour Pot is the easy way to apply Hot Rubberized Crack Filler or Cold Crack Filler into asphalt cracks.
We here at Asphalt Sealcoating Direct offer several ways to fill asphalt cracks depending on the application and a hand-held pour pot is one of several excellent methods for making it happen.
The Gingway handheld Pour Pot features stand up design, fingertip control valve, and heavy-gauge steel construction and will hold 2.0 gallons of hot crack filler or cold crack filler. It also includes a 1-inch to 1/2-inch 90º elbow and 1/2" to 3/8" straight reducer, giving you several preferences on how much flow you want out of your pour-pot.
This 2.0 Gallon Crack Filler Pour Pot is designed to be used with one of our Flex Kettles making it very quick and easy to refill.
In the hands, the Gingway pour-pot feels sturdy. The welds look really good and professional when compared to the competition. The plunger feels really good when dropping it into the funnel opening and the rod feels straight because the whole actuation system is well guided.
In addition to the built-in stand-up base, you'll find a small notch in the handle bracket and a small rod protruding from the plunger rod. This makes it so you can hang up or store the pour-pot with the plunger in the open position if that's how you prefer.
To use a pour pot like the Gingway 2 gallon, simply pour melted hot or cold applied crack fill into the handheld pour pot and follow the crack keeping the funnel approximately 2" to 4" from the pavement surface, dribbling crack fill into the crack as needed to slightly overfill the crack.
After using our asphalt crack filler pour pot, use an Asphalt Crack Squeegee to trim and smooth the new crack filler as needed creating a band of new rubber about 3" wide which will seal the crack from moisture and dirt.
Sand can be sprinkled on the wet joint to add adhesion as well as to "Dull" the new rubber so the repaired crack blends in with the existing asphalt pavement. (This is optional)

Clean-up is easy, simply heat the pour pot with a torch and melt away built-up rubber allowing it to drain out the orifice.
